The company is engaged in the manufacturing of Recycled Polyester Staple Fibre (R-PSF) and Recycled Pellets from post-consumer Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottles. Specializing in the production of eco-friendly materials, the company’s products serve a wide range of applications across various industries. Its journey began in FY 2018-19 with the commencement of R-PSF manufacturing operations at its facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, with an annual production capacity of 8030 Metric Tons.

In November 2023, the company expanded its product line to include Recycled Pellets, although this vertical is currently in the trial stage. These pellets are targeted towards industries such as packaging, automotive, and fiber production.

Historical Development

The company underwent a significant transformation when the current promoters acquired it from the initial subscribers in 2013-14. From 2013 to 2016, the company actively sought opportunities to acquire land and establish the necessary infrastructure to begin manufacturing operations. In 2015-16, it acquired a distressed asset under the SARFESI Act, 2002, from Axis Bank. Over the subsequent two years, the company secured approvals and clearances from relevant authorities such as the pollution board, electricity department, fire department, and water department. This enabled the company to operationalize the facility, and in FY 2018-19, the production of Recycled Polyester Staple Fibre (R-PSF) commenced.

Business Verticals

The company operates in two primary B2B business verticals:

1. Recycled Fiber (R-PSF): The company manufactures Recycled Polyester Staple Fiber (R-PSF) from post-consumer PET bottles, which are commonly used for packaging beverages such as water, soda, and juices. The bottles are collected, sorted, and cleaned before being melted into pellets or chips. These chips are extruded into fibers, which are then used in a variety of products including pillows, mattresses, quilts, and insulation materials. The R-PSF is an environmentally friendly alternative to virgin polyester fibers and contributes to sustainable product development.

2. Recycled Pellets: The recycled pellets have applications in industries such as automotive, packaging, and fiber production. While still in the trial phase, these pellets are expected to provide solutions for both food-grade and non-food-grade bottle production, in compliance with evolving regulations like those issued by FSSAI.The company sources raw materials primarily from post-consumer PET bottles, which are collected from various junk collectors and recycling agents. These materials are processed at the Baddi manufacturing facility to produce R-PSF and Recycled Pellets.

Manufacturing Facility

The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is situated at Village Kalyanpur, Tehsil Baddi, District Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The facility is equipped with advanced machinery and technology to efficiently convert post-consumer PET bottles into Recycled Polyester Staple Fiber and Recycled Pellets. As part of its commitment to sustainability, the company consistently invests in upgrading its processes to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
